Deepcytes Cyber Labs UK operates the LockGuard mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how the App collects, uses, and stores your information.
All photos and data remain stored locally on your device and are never uploaded anywhere.

 

2. Information We Collect
The App does not collect personal information or transmit any data externally.

Data stored on your device:
* Intruder photos (failed unlock attempts)
* Successful unlock photos (only if enabled)
* Permission statuses (Camera, Device Admin, Notification, Overlay)
* App settings (thresholds, toggles, retention, counters)

No external transmission:
* No uploads
* No analytics
* No tracking
* No data sharing

 

3. Permissions Used
Camera: Capture intruder or unlock photos.
Device Admin: Detect failed unlock attempts.
Accessibility Service: Detect when the device is successfully unlocked.
Does NOT read notifications, screen content, keystrokes, or other apps.
Foreground Service: For continuous monitoring and required system notifications.

 

4. How Information Is Used
* Capture and show intruder photos
* Capture unlock photos (if enabled)
* Apply settings
* Trigger alerts
* Auto-delete old photos

 

5. Data Retention
Your selected retention period determines automatic deletion.

 

6. Data Sharing
No data is shared or transmitted.

 

7. Data Security
All data stays on your encrypted device storage.

8. Children’s Privacy
Not intended for users under 13.

 

9. User Controls
You can:
* Enable/disable unlock capture
* Disable Device Admin
* Delete all photos
* Change retention
* Revoke permissions
* Uninstall the app

Uninstall steps:

1. Settings → Security → Device Admin Apps
2. Disable LockGuard
3. Uninstall the app normally

 

10. Policy Updates
Updated versions will be shown inside the app.
